Ritz Paris Hotel Review

Welcome to the Ritz Paris, one of the most luxurious hotels in the world! There are suites in the hotel named after some of the well known guests who have stayed such as Hemingway and Coco Chanel. With my love for hotels, this hotel has been high on my list of “must stay at hotels”. Before the pandemic, we were planning a trip to Paris and I mentioned to my husband that I would love to stay here…who wouldn’t. With the hefty nightly rate (this is a luxury hotel) we decided we just couldn’t swing it. Fast forward to 3 years later, and a near death experience, my husband promised half way through the pandemic that we could stay at the Ritz whenever we make it to Paris. We are SO glad we did. This is not a hotel for a nurse & engineer budget, but it is a hotel that is so worth celebrating something very special at. Somehow, we all find the money to make things work in tough times. It’s important to also find the money and time to celebrate good moments as well.

When you stay at the Ritz they offer luxury transportation services to/from the airport. We did not use them, but I have heard they get you directly through all the lines at the airport when they drop you off. If you’ve been to the Paris airport, you know that any service fee may be worth it to avoid the lines/crowds.

Now picture this…Arriving at the hotel you are greeted by many staff members and not required to lift a finger for any of your luggage. Upon check-in and a complimentary room upgrade, a staff member takes you to your room directly with a tour along the way. In the room, you are greeted with a complimentary bottle of champagne and little treats. The doorbell rings to your room (yes a doorbell) with your luggage and they ask you if you would like a maid to put away your clothing. You look around the room with a TV integrated into the mirror, hidden closets are found in the wall paneling, the shower is a whole room in itself, and the water fixtures are golden swans.

The whole process was so nice it’s hard to put into words how extravagant this hotel truly is. The Ritz Paris is the epitome of Parisian Luxury. It’s effortlessly chic, with small details everywhere that makes it quintessentially Paris. You will find this hotel in the 1st arrondissement or known as “the heart of Paris”. Due to the convenient location, it is a quick walk to many of the iconic landmarks in the city. I could rant on and on about how fabulous this hotel is, but I believe the pictures speak for themselves. So I now present to you the stunning Ritz Paris. ✨
