My Happy Place. Carlsbad Flower Fields.

The Carlsbad Flower Fields are one of my all time favorite places located in Carlsbad California. These flower fields are up on a big hill where you can see the horizon of the ocean at a distance. The blooms each year are around mid-March to mid-April, obviously dependent of the weather. We like to go when they first open because of less crowds and better lighting. However, they do require ticket reservations that can be placed on their website and the early slots fill up quickly. We happened to book our tickets when the flowers were in “Full bloom” that only happens every few years.. and it was stunning. It was like a sea of colorful ranunculus & poppies and I’m so thankful to have witnessed it. Please enjoy all these photos we collected during our time there!
