86 Cannon Review

Overall review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5

Welcome to 86 Cannon located in Charleston, South Carolina! This boutique hotel is the perfect place to stay if you want southern hospitality with impeccable taste. When we arrived we were charmed by the historic building and their attention to detail. They did an amazing job at incorporating old and new. We stayed in the the home right next door & we are excited to share our experience with you!

The suite was BEAUTIFUL. COZY. HOMIE. LUXURIOUS. I wish we could have stayed longer. On our way into SC the airline lost my husband’s luggage, but 86 Cannon helped with the delivery. So while we were out exploring, we came back to my husband’s luggage awaiting in our room. The entire staff was beyond kind & courteous, but my all time favorite touch was their cheese board & wine they would deliver to our room every evening! It seriously tasted as good as it looked and was a thoughtful and delicious addition to our stay.

Like I said, this place knows how to go the extra mile in their details, even the blowdryer in the room was by Dry Bar! The only thing that I wish we had time to do was use their complimentary bikes.. until next time! I obviously would be more than happy to stay in the same room, but this cute hotel has all of their rooms decorated differently. One day I hope to be able to truly admire all the creative detail this treasure holds, but the little stay we had definitely left me beyond impressed.

As far as location, this property is about a 10 minute walk to King street, and a quick car ride to Rainbow Row. It’s right off the path of the main busy street, but that gives it a more quaint and cozy feel. Writing this review makes me want to go back ASAP…but for now, enjoy the rest of our photos!
